Bienvenue! Welcome my first official newsletter! I’m so excited to be taking this journey – and to have all of you with me! I’m still buzzing from the M Factor Film Screening that I hosted 4 June at the Luminor Cinema. The response I got was so warm, supportive, enthusiastic and supportive, it took several hours for me to wind down and sleep after the event (and I was exhausted!!). Thank you for that amazing energy. Here are some the most striking things from that evening. Our stories have power. We have so much more in common than it seems on the surface. We can all get dolled up to go out and put on very glamorous faces and outfits, and be smiling beautifully through our pain and suffering at the same time. That’s magic and tragic at the same time. I love us for doing it. And I wish we didn’t have to. When women come together in the spirit of learning and support, the energy is ELECTRIC. We have been let down by medicine and cultural norms for far too long. But we are harnessing our collective power to change that. It is such an exciting time to be a woman. There is so much work to do. Everyone has something valuable to add to the conversation, and we all bring skills that will create real change. Here are some of the photographs of the evening. I’m working on ways to keep the momentum going and connect as many of us as possible to educate and uplift women and ensure that the systems that we need are fit for purpose.
